  • Remember that if you do not pay your exam fee in advance by credit card, they will only accept a money order at the testing facility.

  • Remember to take a silent, battery operated calculator with you (not solar). Make sure that it has NO Alphabetical keys and does not print or you will not be allowed to use it.

  • Remember to take two forms of ID with you, one of which must be a photo ID. They will accept just about anything for the second ID as long as it has your name printed on it.

  • Remember to take a copy of your course completion slip with you and to maintain a copy for your records at home.

  • Make sure to schedule yourself enough time to take the exam and to wait for your results (3.5 hours to be safe).

  • If you carry a purse or anything with you into the exam room, they will give you a place to store it while testing.

  • Remember to RTQ (Read the Question!)

  • Answer the questions you feel most comfortable with and skip the ones you aren't sure about to revisit later when you've gone through all 100 questions. Maybe you'll get a clue along the way!

  • Relax and breathe deeply during testing to keep you from getting rushed or scrambled during the exam.
